On April 5th 2016 the President of Italy received the copy No.1 of the first volume of the Talmud, translated in Italian by the “Rosh Hashanah” Babylonian Talmud Translation Project.
By Words, association that gathers many young people from different cultures, has accepted the project challenge: By Words fosters open conversations inspired by the ancient Talmudic masters, to promote the universal values of culture, art and history for everyone’s use, supported by open conversations between great masters and new thinkers.
The association aims at enhancing and developing a continuous dialogue and joint research to face social issues through essential tools: we believe that music, art, history, philosophy are opportunities on the way to knowledge and healthy societies.
An intercultural approach to face social issues:
By words aims at providing the tools needed to praise the values of different cultures, leading to the understanding of the differences, in order to develop the right open mindset necessary in today’s ever-changing society.
Through exhibitions, publications, concerts and several activities, By Words promotes art, history and culture, with focus on civil rights, education and research.
